Summer Baking

Hi LnK followers!  Did you miss LnK?  Sorry for not being to share recipes in such a long time.  Yours truly was busy with a new career.  As much as I’d like to share new recipes, my mind is kinda off lately to get back to what I love doing i.e. cooking.  To get back into “shape”, I decided to try baking.  Hopefully I'll find my adventurous spirit.

Baking is a bit of my frustration.  I don’t know why but I suck in baking.  So, this summer I’ll try to start on baby steps.  I'll start on the easy ones…microwave cakes.   My first attempt will be Chocolate Hazelnut Cake. I'll blog about it whether I fail or not.  Hope you follow me on my baking journey.  Catch yah next time.

What's Your Noche Buena?

2013 has been a busy year for me since I'm facing a new career.  But don't think I have forgotten about LnK.  It's just that I don't have new recipe to share to.  As days passed, I always cook the usuals.  And for that, my family is complaining.  They miss my adventurous spirit in cooking.

So this holiday season, I would like to try cooking a new recipe "Crab with Garlic and Oyster Sauce".  If this is successful, I will share it to you.  Aside from the crab, we will have my version of Buffalo Wings and Java Rice.  Then for dessert, my hubby's favorite fruit cocktail salad.
