Are you an Oreo lover but tired of just having them as good old Oreo? This season of Halloween let me share you this video and have fun with your trick or treat.
RECIPE BELOW (shared by Sweeten)
Ingredients: Crust: 24 Oreos (or any other chocolate sandwich cookie) 4 Tbsp butter, soft or melted
Filling: 250 g (roughly 8 oz) White chocolate, chopped 150 g (roughly 6 oz) Cream cheese, at room temperature 12 Oreos, Roughly chopped
Topping (optional): 6 Oreos, roughly chopped 100 g (roughly 4 oz) Dark chocolate, melted
Procedures:
To make the crust:
Combine all the ingredients and add to a food processor. Pulse until
smooth (alternatively place the ingredients in a ziplock bag and smash
with a rolling pin). If you use solid butter, it might harden quickly-
you can add a tbsp of water to soften up the mixture.
Press
onto the bottom of a 9 inch square pan that has been lined with
parchment paper and set aside in the refrigerator to harden.
For the filling:
Melt the white chocolate either over a double boiler or in the microwave for 15 second increments, stirring in between.
Beat the cream cheese and gradually add in the white chocolate until it forms a smooth mixture.
Fold in the 12 Oreos.
Spread the mixture over the base and top with the 6 roughly chopped Oreos.
Chill for 2 hours. Before cutting, drizzle with the melted chocolate.
My version of Carbonara is white sauce based. But the recipe I found from www.recipe30.com is different. It's simpler than mine. It looks flavorful, I must try this version of Carbonara one of these days.
Meanwhile, you might like to try it so I'm sharing the video here.
Thank you all who follow LnK up until now. I'd been busy this past couple of years that somehow I neglected my passion. To be honest, I can't make new recipes nowadays since my mind is preoccupied with work and studies. Thus, in celebration of LnK's 5th anniversary, I decided that I will share recipes I find interesting that I've got from the i-net.
Have you tried cheese sticks? I'm sure you did. But what about Cheetos Mozzarella Sticks? To all cheese lovers, this recipe (from http://PerezHilton.com/recipes post) is for you.
