My Own Healthy Drink



My husband’s anniversary gift last time was a blender, so I could have a healthy drink at home. And my favorite concoction is mango, apple, carrot and orange.  

At this time of the year (summer), what is the best way to cool you down?  I am happy with my own cool smoothie drink.

Ingredients:

1 medium Apple (remove seeds) or Banana
½ Sunkist Orange (peeled/remove seeds)
1 medium Mango (peeled/remove seeds)
½ Carrot (peeled)
1 tsp Sugar
2 glasses Crushed Ice
¼ cup Water

Procedures:

  1. Slice all fruits and carrots then put in the blender.
  2. Add sugar and water then start the blender to mix.
  3. Add ice and blend until it creates smoothie texture.
  4. Serve while in smoothie state.
Makes 2-3 servings
 

Tip: You can combine different fruits, but I prefer with mango and apple/banana always.  Never combine papaya and orange, or papaya and carrot.  It has an aftertaste.
